Ive not long returned from being on holiday in Cyprus where I celebrated
my Birthday. Whilst there I got to experience one of the legendary
Beach Parties at Nissi Beach just outside Ayia Napa. The music played
wasnt my usual thing, allot of EDM and Trap, but hearing it on a big
system has made me appreciate it allot more! So much so that it inspired
me to record a Mix dedicated to that day at Nissi! This set was
recorded in one take and has been split into 3 parts due to it being
over 5 hours long! The set is my interpretation of an afternoon Beach
Party on Nissi bay, starting off deep and building over the hours,
taking in allot of different genres including House, some commercial,
Dubstep, Trap and Big Room EDM and several bootlegs! I really enjoyed
mixing up different genres I wouldnt normally play. Look forward to
returning to Cyprus again next year, makes a really refreshing change to
Ibiza. It was nice to discover that it wasnt all about Garage and RnB,
that they are all into House Music these days! Who knows I may even try
and get a gig or 2 there next summer :-)
